This minimalist Japanese themed interior was a quick creation in Maya to demonstrate a given creative brief. A highly recommended first hard surface project for any 3D modeler.

Eg. a “true” minimalistic stylization can have 90 degree angles and no texture gain or bump, with flat lighting. Instead, I went for a more chunky look, with a light application of bump and wood grain, and added an ambient occlusion layer for the “Pocoyo” toy finish.
